A Home Inspired by Yuna

Yuna, the internationally acclaimed Malaysian singer-songwriter, is known for her distinctive artistry and timeless style. For her home, the vision was to create a space that reflects her personality — thoughtfully designed, warm, and effortlessly elegant.

The project focused on enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of key areas throughout the home, including the kitchen cabinetry, built-in bench and wardrobes. Each element was carefully planned to complement the home's overall design while serving the practical needs of everyday living.

Through a considered selection of materials, finishes, and cabinetry details, Rekabinet brought together functionality and refined aesthetics to create a cohesive living environment that feels personal, comfortable, and timeless.

A home is a reflection of the person within it. For Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna, whose artistry is recognised for its distinctive identity and understated elegance, the spaces she calls home deserve the same thoughtful attention to detail.

The kitchen brings together the natural warmth of wood finishes, soft neutral cabinetry, and clean architectural lines. A generously proportioned island anchors the space, while integrated storage keeps the overall aesthetic seamless and uncluttered. Every element is carefully considered to create a balance between visual sophistication and everyday functionality.

This kitchen embraces a softer expression of modern luxury, where warm wood textures meet muted taupe cabinetry in a palette that feels both composed and inviting. More than just a place to store a wardrobe, this walk-in closet is designed as a personal retreat, where functionality meets understated elegance.

The warm, natural wood tones create a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by sleek black-framed tinted glass cabinets that introduce a refined, contemporary character. Every element is thoughtfully arranged, from the open hanging sections that offer effortless access to everyday essentials, to the spacious drawers and dedicated shelving that keep everything organised without compromising the overall aesthetic.

The balance of open and concealed storage brings a sense of visual rhythm to the space, while the L-shaped configuration makes thoughtful use of every corner. A dedicated display for handbags, shoes and accessories adds a personal touch, transforming practical storage into an extension of the homeowner’s lifestyle.
